Staff Psychologist Job Opportunity

The University of Saskatchewan is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Psychologist to join our team in the Department of Psychology and Health Studies. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing clinical supervision to students, delivering direct services to clients, and contributing to the growth and development of our program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical supervision to students in our practicum training program
  • Deliver direct services to clients, including assessment and intervention
  • Monitor and evaluate student performance
  • Provide clinical supervision to junior faculty prior to registration
  • Ensure clinic services adhere to provincial and national standards
  • Generate and manage clinic referrals
  • Form and maintain relationships with third parties, including health regions and insurance companies
  • Keep accurate and timely records of clinical service provision
  • Provide didactics as part of clinical seminar or, under special circumstances, teach formal coursework
Requirements:
  • Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from a CPA-accredited program or an APA-accredited program
  • Registration or eligibility for registration with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists
  • Authorized Practice Endorsement (APE) within the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists
  • Training and/or supervised experience in providing clinical supervision
  • Experience with administrative and organizational duties involved in managing a clinical practice
