Job Summary

We're seeking a Senior Tax Manager to join our Domestic Tax team. As a trusted advisor to clients, you'll own client relationships within various industries and work closely with top tax experts to deliver personalized solutions. Your expertise in corporate and personal tax planning and compliance will be essential in helping clients achieve tax savings.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Establish deep relationships with clients and advise them on complex tax matters.
  2. Advise clients on reorganizations, rollovers, windups, amalgamations, provisions, succession, and estate planning, as well as manage complex returns.
  3. Coach and mentor colleagues on tax compliance, helping them understand tax planning options.
  4. Impact the financial operation of the practice by developing meaningful relationships with clients from various industries.
  5. Act as a leader in the management of our growing tax practice, identifying and developing new opportunities for additional tax services.

Requirements

  1. You've completed the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course or have a Master's degree in Taxation.
  2. You've developed and presented new ideas, approaches, and tax solutions for clients as part of your commitment to exceptional client service.
  3. You have a keen interest and skill in pursuing business development opportunities to grow the tax practice.
  4. You're a technical expert in corporate and personal Canadian tax planning and compliance, as well as IFRS/US GAAP reporting.
  5. You seek opportunities to support others in their ongoing professional development.
