The Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Service Technician to join our Marine team in Vancouver. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our marine equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and maintain marine equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
  • Assist in the deployment and exchange of marine evacuation systems.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Document and submit inspection and test results for administrative processing.

About You:

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience in mechanical, maintenance, or electrical roles.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent education.
  • Valid BC Driver's License and government-issued passport.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as needed.
