Senior Architect Opportunity

4 Architecture is seeking a highly experienced Senior Architect to join our team. As a key member of our architectural practice, you will be responsible for leading and managing residential projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee residential projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Lead and mentor a team of drafters, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
  • Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
  • Prepare and issue project deliverables, including design, permit, bid, and construction documents.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure project compliance and quality.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure project success.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in residential architecture, with a focus on low-rise projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software.
  • Strong understanding of Ontario Building Code, Municipal/Regional By-Laws, and residential construction techniques.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Bluebeam, and Adobe Acrobat.
