Senior Architect Opportunity at 4 Architecture

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Architect to join our team at 4 Architecture. As a Senior Architect, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage projects, including conceptual design, design development, and construction documentation
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors
  • Ensure that all projects are completed to the highest quality standards, meeting the requirements of the Ontario Building Code and Municipal/Regional By-Laws
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest architectural trends, technologies, and best practices
Requirements:
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Low-Rise Residential Projects
  • Advanced knowledge and application of AutoCAD and Revit
  • Strong knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and Municipal/Regional By-Laws
  • Strong knowledge of residential construction techniques using wood structure
  • Knowledge of residential, institutional, commercial, and mid-rise construction techniques using steel and concrete practices
  • Strong understanding of construction technology and building science
  • Strong English communications skills (written and verbal)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Bluebeam, and Adobe Acrobat
