Anne Zdunic is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Household Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our residential space.

Responsibilities
  • Perform daily housekeeping duties, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors
  • Dust and clean furniture and fixtures
  • Vacuum and clean carpets, rugs, and upholstered furniture
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom areas
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Mend and repair clothing and linens
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as needed
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings
  • Clean changing rooms and showers
Security and Safety
  • Ensure a safe and secure living environment for all residents
  • Participate in regular security checks and protocols
Support for Persons with Disabilities
  • Provide physical accessibility accommodations as needed
  • Offer visual and auditory accessibility accommodations as required
  • Participate in awareness training and education programs
Support for Newcomers and Refugees
  • Assist with settlement needs, including housing and transportation
  • Support social and labour market integration
  • Recruit and support displaced individuals
  • Provide diversity and cross-cultural training
Support for Youth
  • Offer on-the-job training and mentorship
  • Provide awareness training and education programs
Support for Indigenous People
  • Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities
  • Provide cultural competency training and awareness programs
  • Facilitate access to Elders and support services
