Job Title: Nursing Attendant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursing Attendant to join our team at Pro Health Care Services Inc.

Job Summary:

The Nursing Attendant will provide high-quality patient care and support in a home care and visiting care agency setting. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities to promote physical and mental well-being
  • Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, setting up, and assembling medical equipment to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
  • Perform various tasks related to patient care and comfort, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Supply and empty bed pans, and maintain patients' rooms to ensure a clean and comfortable environment
  • Take patients' blood pressure, temperature, and pulse to monitor their health and well-being
  • Serve meal trays and feed patients to promote nutrition and hydration
  • Weigh, lift, turn, and position patients to ensure their safety and comfort
  • Supervise patients' exercise routines to promote physical activity and mobility
  • Maintain inventory of supplies to ensure a smooth operation
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations to ensure patient safety
Requirements:
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Criminal record check
  • Own transportation
Work Environment:

The Nursing Attendant will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong communication and interpersonal skills. The role involves working under pressure, with repetitive tasks, and physically demanding activities. The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to work in a team environment.
