Job Title: Nursing Attendant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursing Attendant to join our team at PRO HEALTH CARE SERVICES INC.

Job Summary:

The Nursing Attendant will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals in their homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This is a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated and caring individual to make a positive impact in the lives of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, promoting their mental and emotional well-being.
  • Assist with medication administration, as per client needs.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients.
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving, ensuring patients receive nutritious and enjoyable meals.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, reporting any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Assist with transfers and mobility, ensuring patients' safety and comfort.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting healthy living and disease management.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and move patients, as required.
