As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing mechanical expertise and support to our facility in mechanical installation and maintenance of plant equipment and production assets.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Mechanical Expertise: Offer technical support and guidance to the maintenance team on mechanical installation and maintenance of plant equipment and production assets.
- Troubleshoot Mechanical Issues: Identify and resolve mechanical and low-voltage electrical failures, and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
- Perform Routine Maintenance: Complete routine preventative maintenance and work order tasks as requested.
- Minimize Downtime: Identify high-risk downtime areas in a fast-paced production environment and work collaboratively to minimize downtime.
- Complete Maintenance Reports: Maintain accurate and detailed maintenance reports and logs to support effective maintenance systems.
- Adhere to Safety and Quality Policies: Ensure adherence to all safety and quality policies and procedures, and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- License: Hold a valid Millwright license (433A).
- Experience: Previous experience as a millwright or maintenance technician in a continuous process manufacturing environment, preferably in food or pharmaceuticals, is preferred.
- Skills: Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and exercise effective judgment. Solid mechanical troubleshooting ability, excellent attendance record, and demonstrated reliability.
- Competitive Pay: $43.30 per hour.
