A top global reinsurance firm, Selby Jennings, is seeking a highly skilled Life Valuations Actuary to oversee the company's monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement valuations work focused on US and Canadian GAAP and STAT, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Mentor junior staff and guide them in model projects for valuations, fostering their growth and development.
  • Assist in setting targets and driving business strategy, contributing to the company's success.
Requirements
  • FSA or ASA designation required, demonstrating your expertise and professionalism.
  • 8+ years of actuarial experience, preferably within the life and annuities space, showcasing your depth of knowledge.
  • US and Canadian GAAP, STAT, and Tax experience, with Solvency II experience being a significant advantage.
Estimated Salary

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
