About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Security Professional to join our Healthcare Division at Paladin Security. As a Healthcare Security Guard, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of patients, staff, and visitors in our healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide access control and monitor restricted areas to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies, including alarm activations and patient safety concerns.
  • Conduct regular patrols to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • Investigate and report any irregularities or incidents that occur during your duties.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to provide support and assistance as needed.

Requirements

  • Valid AB Security license or willingness to obtain one prior to commencing work.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to de-escalate conflicts.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
  • Physical ability to perform duties, including walking up to 20km/shift and pushing/pulling 30-pound doors.
  • Availability to work day and night shifts, including 4 on, 4 off rotations.
