About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team at School District #43 (Coquitlam). As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods and services to support the district's educational programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the district's needs
  • Source and negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure best value
  • Manage procurement processes to ensure compliance with district policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify procurement needs and develop solutions
  • Provide procurement support to district departments as needed
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in procurement or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of procurement principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
