Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

M & H Trucking Ltd. is seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious driver to transport goods and materials across the country. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for driving a tractor-trailer combination and ensuring the safe transportation of cargo.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination: Safely operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country.
  • Load and unload cargo: Load and unload cargo at designated locations, ensuring that all cargo is properly secured and protected.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure that the vehicle is in good working condition and that all safety equipment is functioning properly.
  • Maintain records: Maintain accurate records of cargo, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Communicate with dispatch: Communicate with dispatch to receive and relay information regarding cargo, routes, and other important details.
Requirements:
  • Driver's License: Possess a valid Class 1 or A driver's license.
  • Experience: Have a minimum of [insert experience] years of experience as a Long Haul Truck Driver.
