We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Analyst to join our team at Nova Scotia Health and IWK Health. As a Systems Analyst, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and implementation of clinical information management and technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate requests for change and develop solutions to meet business needs
- Develop and maintain system configuration items in line with best practice and stakeholder approvals
- Provide support for primarily clinical information management and technology solutions and functions across NSH, IWK, and its external clients
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize business requirements
- Develop and maintain documentation to support system changes and configurations
- Degree or diploma in an Information Technology, Business Analysis, or Health Related discipline
- 1-3 years' experience in application programming, systems analysis, business analysis, or systems support
- Experience and/or training with healthcare information systems and terminology
- Experience in a healthcare or clinical setting
- Experience using and/or supporting virtual platforms VCNS, VENS, and VUNS
