Digital IT Solution Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect to join our team at BQ INTERNATIONAL LTD. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT solutions and a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
The Solutions Architect will be responsible for leading solution evaluation and assuming a technical leadership role as part of the core team on Business Applications projects. They will ensure that solutions are in alignment with enterprise strategies and focused on business outcomes.
The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of systems, architectures, systems management, networking, network computing, and application design techniques. They will be able to identify, evaluate, and select the elements of the solution that best meet the business needs of the client organization.
The key skills and knowledge areas required for the resource are outlined in attached Appendix C – Supplementary Specifications. North American job experience is considered an asset for this proposal.
The Solutions Architect will work closely with the business to guide them from start to finish through the solutioning process and into final delivery. They will be responsible for developing non-functional and technical specifications for solution RFP documents, developing proof of concepts, and ensuring solutions and services are successfully and sustainably delivered into operations.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of two (2) large ($1 Million+) IT projects in a Solution Architect role, from start to finish as part of a project team. They will also have architecture and/or hands-on experience with one or more of the following technologies: ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, JD Edwards Enterprise One.
The Solutions Architect will be required to work on-site at SaskEnergy Head Office in Regina, Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM and the proposed hourly rate shall be inclusive of all travel and living costs (PST and GST are extra).
We are looking for a well-rounded Solutions Architect Resource to fill this role. The preference for the start date is as soon as possible. The initial term for this role will conclude on March 31, 2023.
