About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Massage Therapist to join our team at Homewood Health, a leading provider of mental health and addiction services. As a Massage Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our clients and patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions, needs, and preferences to tailor massage sessions
  • Perform a range of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, active release, and cranial sacral therapy
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physiotherapy, osteopathy, family physicians, and nurse practitioners, to ensure integrated patient care
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate records
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive clinic environment, promoting a culture of compassion, understanding, and empathy for patients living with mental health challenges and chronic pain
Requirements
  • Registration and membership in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO)
  • Experience treating patients with musculoskeletal injuries and chronic pain an asset
  • Interest in the intersection between massage therapy and mental health
  • Empathy, compassion, and a patient-centric approach to care, emphasizing the mind-body connection in pain treatment
  • Proven organizational skills and ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently
