About the Opportunity



CSA Group is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the development of health care and well-being standards. This challenging role requires strong project management skills, knowledge of the health and safety industry, and experience working with stakeholders to advance new opportunities.



The successful candidate will have a post-secondary degree in health sciences or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in standards development. A PMP designation and proficiency in French are considered assets.



Key Responsibilities




  • Develop and execute projects from start to finish, effectively managing multiple projects and establishing project processes and schedules, resource requirements, costs, quality, and risk.
  • Assess standards' needs, develop business cases and plans to address these needs, and create proposals and contracts.
  • Liaise with internal and external partners, including clients, management, legal, and finance, to obtain project buy-in and approvals.
  • Identify research topics and participate in research projects to generate knowledge that informs standards and advances the program strategy.
  • Other related responsibilities.


Requirements




  • A post-secondary degree in health sciences or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in standards development.
  • Experience writing proposals, grant applications, and business plans.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Top-notch people skills, including relationship management, facilitation, and networking with people at all levels.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
  • Polished oral and written communication skills, including technical writing.
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including spreadsheets, word processing, presentation software, and project planning software.
  • High degree of self-motivation, resilience, adaptability, and flexibility.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a team player and build capacity of peers.


What We Offer



CSA Group offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, professional development opportunities, and a dynamic work environment.
