Role Overview:

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, your primary focus will be to provide comprehensive support to the quality function, fostering and embedding Quality and Lean principles into every facet of our operations. In this capacity, you will assist in the development, implementation, and management of the company's Quality Program, ensuring compliance with internal standards, customer expectations, ISO and other regulatory requirements. You will leverage your skills and experience to establish a robust quality framework, concentrating on constructing a quality management system from the ground up that aligns with the business vision.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of - years of relevant experience in document management systems, quality programs, or related fields.
  • Advanced knowledge of quality tools and general business processes applicable in product engineering, manufacturing, and construction settings.
  • Strong understanding of Process Flow Mapping, Quality Tools, and Lean methodologies.
  • Proficient in SharePoint, Microsoft Project, Dynamics, Visio, and other flowcharting applications.
  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.

Success Metrics in this Role:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Enterprise Quality to implement and uphold the Svante Quality Management System, including quality manuals, system procedures, standard operating procedures, and associated documentation, in accordance with ISO and other regulatory standards.
  • Contribute to the formulation and execution of best practice Quality strategies, policies, processes, and procedures to enhance operational performance.
  • Manage nonconformities identified by certification bodies, customers, or suppliers during audits, ensuring effective resolution and independent verification.
  • Support all internal audit initiatives to verify the effectiveness of the established quality management system.
  • Oversee the administration of the Enterprise Document Management System, assisting cross-functional teams with their documentation needs, including policies, procedures, and other controlled documents.
  • Monitor key quality performance indicators and initiate, deploy, and implement strategies to achieve established goals.
