About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Internal Audit Investigations Coordinator to join our team at Magna. As a key member of our Internal Audit department, you will play a critical role in supporting the administration, coordination, and monitoring of investigations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the Investigation Leads and the Global Internal Audit team, including preparation of reports, presentations, and other materials.
  • Case Management: Monitor and track cases to ensure complete and accurate current status availability, and update the Global Tracking Report accordingly.
  • Communication: Chair periodic case update meetings with Regional Leads, Case Oversight Team, Case Investigation Leads, Corporate functions, and Product Groups.
  • Reporting: Prepare monthly and quarterly reports and analysis of case status and metrics for Product Group, Executive, and Audit Committee stakeholders.
  • Support: Provide support to Investigation Leads and other Specials and Investigation department processes and requirements.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to deliver concise summaries and reports, actively listen during meetings, and develop effective communication strategies.
  • Organizational Proficiency: Tackles tasks in a disciplined and systematic manner, with attention to detail in planning, execution, communication, and record retention.
  • Professionalism and Rapport Building: Interacts with individuals at all corporate levels objectively, respectfully, and establishes strong professional relationships.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Can handle stress and adjust plans quickly, prioritizing tasks effectively within a team environment.
  • Commitment and Reliability: Demonstrates dedication to completing tasks accurately and efficiently and collaborates effectively as a team member.
  • Confidentiality and Trustworthiness: Maintains high ethical standards, ensuring strict confidentiality of department information unless otherwise directed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Associate or Bachelor degree in Business, Communications, or Pre-law, or other related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in an administrative environment responsible for monitoring and reporting duties, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Strong command of MS Office applications and internet usage, familiarity with investigation hotline systems an asset.
