Material Handler

IPEX, a leading provider of plastic piping systems, is seeking a skilled Material Handler to join its Extrusion Facility in Toronto. This individual will be responsible for implementing standard material handling procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a forklift to transport materials and products within the facility.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, adhering to 5S principles and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Assist in the receiving, storing, and shipping of materials and products.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and products.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties, including cleaning and maintaining equipment and facilities.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience operating a forklift.
  • High School degree or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Basic hand tool skills and knowledge of warehouse operations.
