Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of expectant clients to identify potential risks and develop targeted interventions.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on topics such as prenatal care, childbirth, and postpartum recovery.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives.
  • Completion of a recognized advanced nursing specialty program in perinatal nursing or two years' recent experience in a related field.
  • Broad knowledge of nursing theory and practice within a client-centered model of care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

The estimated salary for this position is CAD $83,628 - CAD $110,162 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive compensation package, including comprehensive benefits and professional development opportunities.
