Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Food Service Staff

Oversee the activities of our food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our high standards of quality and customer service.

Train and Develop Staff

Provide comprehensive training and development opportunities to our staff, focusing on job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and customer service skills.

Inventory Management and Control

Estimate and manage inventory levels, ensuring that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet customer demand.

Quality Control and Assurance

Monitor and maintain high standards of quality and customer service, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.

Customer Service and Relations

Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

Record Keeping and Reporting

Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing regular reports to management as required.

Culinary Knowledge and Expertise

Have a strong knowledge of our culinary genres and be able to provide guidance and support to our staff on menu preparation and presentation.

Work Scheduling and Planning

Establish and manage work schedules, ensuring that our staff are working efficiently and effectively to meet customer demand.

Supervision and Leadership

Supervise and lead a team of 3-4 staff members, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure that they are working to their full potential.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the shift.

Personal Qualities and Skills

We are looking for a candidate with excellent interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Requirements
  • Education

College or CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience.

Experience

1-2 years of experience in a food service environment, with a strong background in supervisory or management roles.

Language

Fluent in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Term

Permanent position, with a minimum of 30-40 hours per week.
