Job Title: Store Operations Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Store Operations Manager to join our team at BC Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing and controlling daily store operations, evaluating daily performance, and planning and organizing daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and Control Daily Operations: Ensure the smooth operation of the store, including managing staff, assigning duties, and resolving issues that may arise.
- Evaluate Daily Performance: Analyze daily sales, customer service, and operational performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Plan and Organize Daily Activities: Develop and implement plans to achieve sales targets, improve customer service, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage Staff and Assign Duties: Supervise and train staff, assign duties, and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently.
- Study Market Research and Trends: Analyze market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes, and the effect of competitors' operations on sales.
- Determine Merchandise and Services: Decide on the merchandise and services to be sold, taking into account market research and trends.
- Implement Price and Credits Policies: Develop and implement price and credits policies to ensure that they are fair and competitive.
- Locate, Select, and Procure Merchandise: Source and procure merchandise for resale, ensuring that it meets quality and pricing standards.
- Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies: Create and implement marketing strategies to promote the store and its products.
- Plan Budgets and Monitor Revenues and Expenses: Develop and manage budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and make adjustments as needed.
- Determine Staffing Requirements: Assess staffing needs and make recommendations to ensure that the store is adequately staffed.
- Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise.
- Oversee Payroll Administration: Manage payroll administration, including processing payrolls, managing benefits, and ensuring compliance with labor laws.
- Conduct Performance Reviews: Evaluate staff performance, provide feedback, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Supervise Office and Volunteer Staff: Supervise and train office and volunteer staff, ensuring that they are equipped to perform their duties efficiently.
Requirements:
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
Work Environment: This is a permanent position with a 35-40 hour workweek. The work language is English.
