Job Title: ECE Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring ECE Assistant to join our team at Bee Yourself Childcare INC. As an ECE Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our childcare centre and contributing to the development of our young learners.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Encourage children to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity.
  • Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
  • Knowledge of licensing regulations.
  • Establish guidelines for behaviour.
  • Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.
Requirements:
  • Child development assistant (ECE level 1) certification.
  • Emergency child care first aid and CPR certification.
  • Criminal record check.
