About The Role

As a Rehabilitation Assistant at Baptist Housing, you will play a vital role in supporting our team's efforts to provide high-quality care to our residents. Your responsibilities will include collaborating closely with Occupational Therapists and Physical Therapists to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient operations.

Some of your key duties will be managing daily emails and therapy consultations, executing interventions as directed by therapists, and assisting residents with various activities such as lifting and positioning. You will also observe and report any changes in therapeutic programs, maintain equipment, and foster a culture of safety within the team.

  • Completion of a Rehab Assistant Diploma or Program
  • Current First Aid certification
  • Preference given to candidates with at least one year of recent related experience or an equivalent blend of education, training, and experience
