We have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and support to our clients, and we are seeking a highly skilled occupational therapist to join our team.


About the Role

The occupational therapist will work closely with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to provide assessment, treatment plans, and intervention strategies to help clients achieve their goals.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong planning and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients of all ages to improve their ability to perform tasks in their daily living and working environment.
  • Provide assessment, treatment plans, independent living skills training and intervention strategies, recommendations, reports, and service coordination to clients, caregivers, and their families.
  • Work with external health care providers to identify needs, support care plan goals, and strengthen communication and care planning linkages between providers and across sectors along the continuum of care.


Qualifications and Requirements

  • Master of Occupational Therapy Degree (or equivalent).
  • Current registration with a provincial regulatory body in Canada.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Current clean criminal records check.
  • 1-2 years experience in the health and/or social service sectors.
