SUNSET GRILL ALL DAY BREAKFAST RESTAURANT is a dynamic and fast-paced breakfast restaurant seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled and organized individual to assist in the kitchen with various tasks, including food preparation, cleaning, and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and be committed to providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Assist in preparing and cooking breakfast items, such as omelets, pancakes, and waffles.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces, as well as maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, serving customers, and handling customer inquiries.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
- Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, unpacking, and storing supplies, as well as maintaining inventory levels.
- Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized waste management system.
- Floor Care: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Language: English.
- Availability: 40 hours per week.
- Client Focus: Provide exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Team Player: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
- Ability to Multitask: Prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Dependability: Be reliable and punctual, and maintain a high level of attendance and productivity.
