KBE Design Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled KBE Design Engineer to join our team at RGBSI. As a KBE Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating complex parametric math models for commodities using Knowledge-Based Engineering template modeling techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop parametric CAD models for commodities using Catia/NX
  • Develop and maintain Knowledge-Based Engineering templates for modeling techniques
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture and construction techniques
  • Train and mentor other Catia/NX engineers on modeling techniques and architecture
  • Develop and maintain master development, packaging, and requirement sections
  • Define and implement master template modeling structures

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in CAD modeling with Siemens NX
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in robust modeling with Siemens NX
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in parametric CAD modeling with Siemens NX
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Body in White (Automotive) Engineering
  • Product launch experience and/or assembly plant experience
  • Engineering change management experience
  • Stamping and component assembly knowledge
  • Dimensional control understanding - GD&T, part-to-part variation/clearance, etc.
  • Relevant materials engineering knowledge
  • Automotive OEM and/or Tier/supplier experience

Education:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering
