At LeddarTech, we're seeking a skilled Data Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for improving the data lifecycle, ensuring that our data infrastructure is integrated and aligned with our business vision.
Data Specialist Responsibilities
- Assess current data infrastructure and propose a plan to integrate current systems to a desired future state.
- Provide recommendations to the data engineering team to improve tools and processes.
- Responsible for creating and updating procedures for data lifecycle processes.
- Collaborate with data engineering, DEVOPS, IT, and Architect teams to develop the best data infrastructure.
Data Specialist – Support Data Collection and Annotation Projects
As a Data Specialist, you will also be responsible for supporting data collection and annotation projects. This includes leading annotation projects, delivering quality data to internal customers, and contributing to technical tasks execution of the data lifecycle process.
Collaborate in the Development of the Organization
You will also participate in meetings relevant to your function, collaborate with coworkers, and contribute to administrative procedures. Additionally, you will work with DevOps & data engineering & data verification teams to design and deploy best data pipelines for product lines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, electrical engineering, software engineering, or other technical degree.
- 2+ years of experience in a technical role.
- Experience in a start-up is an asset.
- Experience working with international customers and partners is an asset.
- Self-motivated and savvy problem solver with a passion for technology.
- Software development knowledge (Python) is an asset.
- Data format, robotics, calibration, neural networks are assets.
Languages
Bilingual English-French is essential.
