Maintenance Person Job Description

Hamoon Construction Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and adjustments to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
  • Perform minor repairs on appliances and equipment.
  • Conduct safety and security checks to ensure a secure and healthy work environment.
  • Assist tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed.
  • Ensure that systems and equipment are operating efficiently and that proper maintenance and repairs are performed.
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in maintenance and repair.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle repetitive tasks.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Dependability, flexibility, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
  • Work in a variety of locations, including apartment/condominium complexes, office buildings, and commercial buildings.
  • May be required to work at heights or in confined spaces.
  • Exposure to dust, noise, and other environmental hazards.
