About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Server to join our team at Havana Vancouver. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Serve food and beverages, take orders, and relay to kitchen and bar staff.
  • Menu Knowledge: Describe menu items, including daily specials, and advise on menu selections.
  • Wine and Beverage Knowledge: Describe and advise on wine selection.
  • Table Management: Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Teamwork: Train staff and assist clients/guests with special needs.
  • Problem-Solving: Address customers' complaints or concerns and enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
Work Environment

As a Food and Beverage Server at Havana Vancouver, you will work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods and working under pressure. You will be required to bend, crouch, and kneel as part of your duties.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 32 hours per week.
