The McMaster University is seeking a highly skilled Psychometrist to join our research team. As a Psychometrist, you will be responsible for the administration and scoring of psychological and neuropsychological tests under the general direction of a Principal Investigator or Research Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct clinical interviews with study participants to gather information and assess their mental health.
  • Administer and score psychological and neuropsychological tests to assess cognitive function, mental health, and other relevant factors.
  • Interpret test results and provide feedback to participants on their assessment findings.
  • Coordinate the collection, delivery, entry, verification, analysis, and reporting of data.
  • Write clinical reports that summarize assessment findings and provide recommendations for future research.
  • Conduct systematic reviews of research literature to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the field.
  • Recruit participants to participate in research studies and coordinate the data collection process.
  • Plan and coordinate research meetings and conference calls with collaborators.
  • Schedule assessment appointments for study participants and ensure that all necessary materials are available.
  • File, maintain, and safeguard the confidentiality of study participant information.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Psychology or a related field.
  • Requires 3 years of relevant experience in psychological testing and research.
