Job Opportunity

We have an opening for a Supervisor, Tax Reporting to join our award-winning firm in the Vancouver office. This role requires a subject-matter expert who manages the day-to-day processing in our Tax Reporting department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspire, coach, support and develop the Tax Reporting team
  • Conduct formal performance review activities; coach for performance all year long
  • Leverage the talent management program to identify and mentor emerging leaders for succession planning initiatives
  • Coordinate and supervise activities required for the effective day-to-day operations of the Tax Reporting team
  • Support training programs directed towards our investment advisory teams
  • Develop subject matter expertise for all facets of Tax Reporting requirements, including maintaining up-to-date reference manuals
  • Maintain high level of data accuracy for quality assurance
  • Expertise in setting priorities and undertaking complex administrative tasks
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of five years of tax reporting or related industry experience
  • Subject-matter expertise in tax reporting is required and people leadership skills is an asset
  • An undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience in a business-oriented discipline
  • Ability to problem solve and exercise good judgment and decision making within a regulatory framework
  • Experience with Broadridge's Dataphile platform or similar data processing system is required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • CSC, CPH, IFC, CPA are an asset
Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $115,000 per annum
