As a key member of the facilities management team, this individual will be responsible for supervising a team of Housekeeping Aides and Lead Hands, ensuring that high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained throughout the hospital.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of 16+ Housekeeping staff, coordinating daily activities and tasks to meet established housekeeping standards
  • Order and manage environmental services supplies, maintaining accurate records and monitoring expenditures
  • Perform a range of cleaning duties, including damp dusting, dry and wet mopping, floor maintenance and refinishing, and waste collection and removal

Requirements

  • Grade 10 education, plus 3 years' experience in related field, with 6 months' supervisory experience
  • Valid BC Driver's License, as local travel may be required
