Job Title: Delivery Agent

Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding career in the postal service? We are seeking a Delivery Agent to join our team at Canada Post.

Job Summary:

As a Delivery Agent, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to customers in your assigned area. You will work independently, using your own vehicle, to ensure timely and efficient delivery of mail and packages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver mail and packages to customers in your assigned area
  • Sort and prepare mail and packages for delivery
  • Operate a postal vehicle safely and efficiently
  • Provide excellent customer service to customers

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 5 or Class G driver's licence with a safe driving record for at least 3 years
  • Physical ability to lift mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg (50 lb) and carry items weighing up to 15.9 kg (35 lb) regularly throughout the day
  • Ability to work in all types of weather
  • Availability to be on-call
  • Ability to read, write and speak English and/or French
