Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory and Materials Handler to join our team in Calgary. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management of inventory, shipping, and receiving processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management
    • Ensure inventory management complies with company policies and industry regulations
    • Manage documentation related to inventory transactions, including invoices, receipts, and shipping documents
    • Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions in the database
    • Ensure accurate and timely processing of orders and deliveries
    • Manage and track inbound and outbound shipments
  • Shipping and Receiving
    • Unload inbound freight carriers and ensure accurate counts and product identification and locating of product in storage location
    • Examine articles for accuracy, discrepancy, and flag according to company policies
    • Check material received against provided packing slip supplied by vendor
    • Label and mark all valves, fittings, and pipe (receive and reject)
    • Track materials being received
    • Perform kitting and job preparations

Requirements

  • 2+ years of directly related experience in the oil and gas industry
  • Reliable data entry skills, knowledge of warehousing, material handling, and distribution
  • Knowledge of F&F/valves
  • Knowledge of packing lists and P.O's
  • MS Excel or Google Sheets experience
  • Valid forklift ticket is a requirement
