Florida Crystals, a subsidiary of the ASR Group, is a leading producer of sugar and other sweetener products. Our Belleville plant is a state-of-the-art facility that produces a variety of sugar-containing products for customers in Canada and the U.S.

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing electrical and maintenance support for the entire plant.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, regulations, and company policies related to electrical maintenance and plant operations.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production, packaging, and ancillary equipment throughout the plant.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance teams to ensure seamless plant operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

**Requirements**

  • Certified Licensed Electrician with experience in an industrial maintenance environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including PLC troubleshooting, relay control, transformers, and calibration/instrumentation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with colleagues at all levels.
  • Strong understanding of Ontario Electrical Code and experience working in an industrial manufacturing plant for at least 3 years.

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • Industrial troubleshooting experience.
  • Experience with HMI systems, including PanelView and PanelView Plus.
  • Experience with PLC systems, including Allen Bradley RS 500 and Allen Bradley RS 5000.
  • Total Performance Management (TPM) experience.

**Compensation**

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive hourly rate of $44.37/hour.
