Job Title: Caregiver with a Personal Touch

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to join our team at Residence Collette. As a personal support worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

About the Job

This is a permanent full-time position, working 35 to 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, developing strong relationships with our residents and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to residents, promoting independence and dignity;
  • Assist residents with bathing, grooming, and other aspects of personal hygiene;
  • Launder clothing and household linens, maintaining a clean and comfortable living environment;
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering dietary needs and preferences;
  • Provide companionship and engage residents in activities that promote socialization and mental stimulation;
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, ensuring a safe and healthy environment;
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
  • First Aid Certificate;
  • Criminal record check;
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of productivity;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and colleagues;
  • Punctuality, reliability, and a strong work ethic;
