Retail Security Officer

In this exciting role with Loblaw Companies Limited, you will provide exceptional customer service and support to all internal and external customers. This involves welcoming customers as they enter the store and providing friendly service.
You will also respond to Gatekeeper alarms and receipt checks as required, assess safety hazards such as spills or wet floors, and take proper procedures to ensure customer safety. Additionally, you will escalate any crisis or emergency situations in a timely manner.
Your responsibilities will include maintaining and submitting daily, weekly, and monthly status reports, as well as performing other duties as required.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you must have experience within a retail environment, preferably with a focus on customer service. You should also be able to foster partnerships with store teams and possess exceptional customer service skills, including the ability to build relationships.
It is essential that you have a professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor, as well as the ability to remain calm in high-tension situations. You should also be physically able to walk or stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
