Corporate Security Manager

FortisBC is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our corporate security program, driving strategic initiatives that ensure the safety of employees and communities. As a Manager, Corporate Security, you will be responsible for developing and executing province-wide security strategies, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to produce impactful recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute corporate security strategies, including risk assessments and security policies.
- Collaborate with multiple programs as a subject matter expert to identify and develop applicable policies, patterns, and practices.
- Modernize corporate security by planning activities and staying up-to-date on emerging technologies and best practices.
- Drive forward the performance of corporate security by establishing key performance indicators and service level agreements.
- Bachelor's degree in law, law enforcement, business, or public administration, plus a minimum of eight to 10 years of recent and related experience in asset or building management within a leadership capacity.
- Equivalent combination of education, related training, and experience may be considered.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional designation is preferred.
- Knowledge in developing investigative strategies, conducting investigations of a complex and sensitive nature, and a demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion.
- Exceptional communication and project management skills to engage with stakeholders across the business.
