Housekeeping and Operations Coordinator

The Drawbridge Inn is seeking a highly skilled Housekeeping Manager to oversee the daily operations of our housekeeping department.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement efficient housekeeping procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
- Select and purchase equipment and supplies necessary for housekeeping operations.
- Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure compliance with safety and health standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses and organizations.
- Support social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in housekeeping or a related field.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
