About The Cellar Pub And Grill

We are seeking a skilled and experienced line cook to join our culinary team at The Cellar Pub And Grill. As a line cook, you will play a vital role in preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning: Assist in planning and preparing menus, including determining food portion sizes and costs.
  • Cooking and Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, including special meals for patients with dietary restrictions.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including preparing dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant, cafeteria, bar, or café.
  • Security and Safety: Basic security clearance required.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation required.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and work under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, time management, and work term: permanent.
