We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Vehicle Power Unit Integration Specialist to join our team at BRP. As a key member of our Electrical Vehicle Power Unit Integration team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development of different system components from prototyping to mass production.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development of system components during the prototyping phase to mass production.
- Lead control system projects related to EV Power Unit (Inverter and motor, Charger, Battery, etc.) to respect deadlines and good performances for Recreational vehicles.
- Develop specific technical solutions considering controls system architecture.
- Establish controls requirements to ensure system robustness, high quality, and reliability of prototype and series production components.
- Develop and execute reliability testing procedures during development on electrical bench test, Dynos, and Prototypes vehicles.
- Collaborate with electrical technicians, suppliers, and internal departments in the development of EV components.
- Support the design, production, quality assurance, and manufacturing engineering teams.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronics engineering, mechatronics, or demonstrate exceptional skill in the relevant fields.
- Experience in controls architecture (motoring, power delivery, charging technologies, Battery Management Systems).
- Experience in product development cycle, from prototyping to production.
- Proficiency in French and English (written and spoken) as you will have to communicate with stakeholders based in Quebec and outside of Quebec or monolingual English speakers on a daily basis.
