Electrical Engineer for EV Power Unit Integration

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in the development and integration of high-voltage powertrain components for electric vehicles. As a key member of our Electrical Vehicle power unit integration team, you will be responsible for designing and developing HV powertrain components and integrating them into various vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and design HV powertrain components, including power converters, grounding, isolation, heat management, EM radiation and shielding, EV charging technologies, and battery technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical compliance and identify necessary tests during internal vehicle level physical testing phase.
- Define priorities for electrical validation and test technicians/team during the item's validation and commissioning phase.
- Follow up the ITEM up to the assembly line for the end of line and assembly sequence, identifying both risks and solutions for the assembly of the item on the vehicle.
- Develop and maintain technical requirement specifications, validation plans, and technical maturity reporting.
- Participate in internal DFMA analysis for the ITEM, vehicle, and assembly.
- Organize internal follow-up of the project and technical follow-up with the supplier.
- Manage internal commissioning and validation of the Item.
- Contribute to the overall development of the team portfolio through patents and new development ideas.
- Rigorous and well-organized with a mind for innovation and EV awareness.
- Ability to work in a project start-up environment with objectives that are in the process of being defined.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or electronics engineering or exceptional skill in relevant fields.
- Experience with electrical simulation tools, 3D electrical/electromagnetic simulations, electrical drawing tools, including See Electrical, Capital Harness.
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in power electronics design, electrical/electronic simulation, and/or EMC design, with experience in R, R10, J, and/or IEC a plus.
- Good knowledge of CAN communication protocols; EVSE to OBC communications.
- Proficiency in French and English (written and spoken).
