Job Title: Retail Sales Clerk

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Clerk to join our team at NOVA SCOTIA LIMITED. As a Retail Sales Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing sales transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, credit card, and debit card payments.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves, facing merchandise, and sweeping and mopping floors.
  • Assist with visual merchandising, including setting up displays and arranging product displays.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting productivity and sales goals.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or customer service environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity and sales goals.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
