About the Role

This is a leadership opportunity like no other. You'll oversee the development of our core AI, ML, and data capabilities, ensuring they're scalable, performant, and resilient. Your focus will be on aligning with our growing business needs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering impactful products that solve real-world challenges.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a long-term vision for software infrastructure, driving key technical capabilities that underpin our platform.
  • Spearhead the development of critical systems to process math-intensive jobs and asynchronous workloads, enabling the fundamental scale of our platform.
  • Champion technical priorities across product, engineering, and data science teams, fostering collaboration and alignment.
  • Maintain a roadmap for core service capabilities and interfaces, empowering application and feature teams to deliver business value quickly.
  • Design and develop foundational capabilities such as permissions, authentication/authorization, message and event-based platforms, and internal services.
  • Evolving the tech stack using modern, application- appropriate options and frameworks.
About You

We're seeking an exceptional leader with a proven track record of managing high-caliber engineering teams, driving innovation, and promoting a culture of metrics-driven quality and efficiency. Your expertise should include:

  • 10+ years of experience developing software, preferably in backend roles.
  • Experience with data processing (ETL), AI, and ML.
  • Cloud experience required, GCP preferred.
  • Strong programming skills, with proficiency in Python and Go.
  • API design and development expertise.
  • A history of building healthy, inclusive, high-performing engineering teams.
