About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Architectural Technologist to join our team at GGA-Architecture. As a Junior Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of technical documentation, including details, millwork drawings, and section and material specifications. You will also contribute to the accuracy, quality, completeness, and schedule of finished drawing packages.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, including details, millwork drawings, and section and material specifications
- Contribute to the accuracy, quality, completeness, and schedule of finished drawing packages
- Work under the supervision of the Director of Project and the Architectural Technology Manager
- Participate as an AT team member developing highly detailed models in REVIT

Requirements:

- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Ability to pay close attention to details to ensure that work is done correctly and thoroughly
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
- Collaborative, highly motivated, accountable, and diligent
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written English communications skills
- Quality control, be thorough in completing tasks assigned
- Willing to learn contract document process
- Architectural Technology Diploma Required
- Good background in computer drafting (Revit) required, and fluency with Microsoft Office and other relevant software
- Some familiarity with the Alberta Building Code
- Good documentation skills
- Able to work under pressure to complete work and meet deadlines
