Key Responsibilities
As a Restaurant Operations Manager, you will:
- Serve as an ambassador for our brand, embodying our values and leading others to do the same, setting us apart from competitors.
- Embody our company's values and mission, consistently demonstrating them in interactions with team members, guests, communities, investors, and supplier partners.
- Deliver exceptional guest service and brand activation through food quality and presentation, executing our service strategy.
- Collaborate with the restaurant leadership team to maintain and facilitate all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring alignment with our Team Member Handbook, Policies, and Procedures.
- Assist the restaurant management team with food and beverage inventory and purchasing.
- Drive operational excellence, striving for improved efficiency and quality in kitchen and food operations, protecting recipes and procedures.
- Coach, lead, and develop our team members, providing great training and support.
- Manage financials, aiming to exceed established goals.
- Oversee total business operations, maintaining the integrity of our brand at each location.
Requirements:
- 5 years of previous restaurant management experience, preferably in an AGM or GM role, within a comparable environment.
- Strong leadership skills to train and mentor team members.
- Excellent organizational and planning abilities to reach set goals in day-to-day situations and business planning.
- Proficiency in computer software applications.
- Effective written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills including conflict resolution.
- Willingness to tackle challenges and drive business forward.
- Proven floor leadership and coaching skills to motivate team members.
- Business acumen and analytical skills.
- Previous experience in scheduling, labor, product cost control, and inventory management.
- Smart Serve Certification required.
- Knowledge of provincial employment legislation.
