Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand and analyze business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
  • Apply critical thinking to identify opportunities for process optimization and implement solutions.
  • Provide timely and accurate requirements to technical stakeholders to enable their success.
  • Maintain knowledge of data sources and classifications to inform analysis and decision-making.
  • Explore and utilize data sources for analysis purposes and critically review data requests and quality.
  • Engage with external stakeholders to uncover analytical insights and provide recommendations to support business objectives.
  • Assist with project planning and guide internal team members to follow outlined requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of Business Analysis experience.
  • Ability to map out complex operational processes and analyze data to provide business recommendations.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with a focus on interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
  • Previous experience with JIRA and Confluence, as well as proven ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced or agile environment and preparing data for machine learning models.
Nice to Have:
  • Retail or tax/finance background is an asset, but not mandatory.
  • Experience with SQL, specifically BigQuery, is an asset.
