The Accounts Receivable Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions by serving as a liaison between Accounts Receivable and Accounting departments. Key responsibilities include:

  • Cash Application and Deduction Management: Manage cash application and deduction processes for specific customers, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • AR Adjustment Research and Review: Conduct thorough research and review of AR adjustments to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Customer Rebate Management: Collaborate with Sales, Trade Marketing, and Pricing Group to validate customer rebates and ensure accounts are up-to-date.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation for all adjustments and offsets, ensuring compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with the Credit Team to share relevant customer payment, deduction, and credit balance information.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of AR operations.

Requirements and Skills:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, preferably in a consumer products company.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or business, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and experience working with an ERP system.
  • Experience with SAP is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Positive team player attitude.
